A Successful New Career After Retirement
Rich and Jeannetta “Tippy” Petras had experienced full professional lives. In addition to Rich’s work in education and Tippy’s experience with interior design and sales, the couple opened a natural wellness store and ran it for nearly 25 years before retiring.
Initially, they had no desire to seek out extra business opportunities once they’d closed their natural wellness store. “We were enjoying our life and not looking for anything business-related to interrupt it!” the West Virginia-based couple shared.
After they were able to spend many happy and healthy years with their dog, Gracie, thanks to suggestion from LifeVantage Distributors Steve and Renee Price to supplement Gracie’s diet with Petandim®, the couple began researching other LifeVantage products such as Protandim®, and they were happy to discover it was well-researched and effective. * It tapped directly into their shared passion for wellness and education, making them a natural fit for sharing the product with others hoping to improve their health.
While running a business after retirement wasn’t in either Rich or Tippy’s plans, they are thrilled with the results of working with LifeVantage. They’ve used their extra income to update their home and help their daughter, Margo, financially, but they also love the intangible benefits of their work: having the opportunity to meet and work with like-minded people and hear the success stories their happy customers share with them. Achieving the Top 5 Sales Influencer Award also brought comfort during a difficult time, as their adored Gracie and Rich’s brother Larry both passed away in May.
Their advice to others hoping to achieve their level of success is, “Never let discouragement take residence in your daily forward progress! Be patient and stay focused on helping others!”
